[Mom]

I'm a first time single mom who didn't read enough books, downloaded too many baby apps for her iPhone and tried to overplan my entire pregnancy. Maddy entered the world in April and life has been perfect with her in it!

I didn't give up coffee (I cut back but I couldn't give it up) and sang a lot of Lady Gaga to my child so far. I'm a cat-loving, Instagramming machine and I tweet what I feel all too often. Sometimes I subtweet. Deal with it.

My baby's father is cute and has his nice moments but this blog isn't about him; just me and our kid (sorry, sucker!)

I used to write about dating. Now I am writing about babies. I have worked in marketing for five years. I'm currently focusing on marketing for a chain of retail stores. It's awesome! 

And if you must know I live outside of Philadelphia in "the burbs". I am that annoying Philly sports fan you read about in the news -- minus the violence, plus the shit talking -- totally understanding that although I've seen one championship in my lifetime that'll probably be it.
