We found out we were growing a little peanut in the fall and are expecting her in the Spring of 2014. We are super excited to welcome Madilynn to both our families!
Our baby is named Madilynn Rose; picked out by yours truly. Why Madilynn? I used to always say if I got pregnant and had a girl this would be a baby name choice so when the time came, it was zero surprise that this is the first name that came to my head. Rose is for my paternal grandmother who passed away two years ago. She used to always call all her grandchildren her angels. Shortly after I decided Rose would be the middle name, I had vivid dreams of her showing up. I think it was her telling me she liked the choice... and that she would have my back throughout pregnancy and motherhood. I got lucky that her father liked the name too -- win!
We placed bets on when she would arrive & how much she would weigh.
I say: May 1st at 8lbs 7oz
He says: April 20th at 8lbs 1oz
We were both super wrong! I was induced on April 9th and Madilynn entered the world on Thursday, April 10th at 12:32pm. It was the best day of our lives!
